Delilah was born on February 15, 1960 in North Bend, Oregon. She began her radio career as a news reporter on KDUN-AM while she was still in middle school. The radio station was located in her hometown of Reedsport, Oregon and although it was a small operation, it was known as "The Voice of the Oregon Dunes". Delilah has since gone on to host her own self-titled nationally-syndicated radio program (https://www.delilah.com/) which has been a radio staple for decades. Delilah was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2016. She not only has a prolific radio career, but she is also a published author of several books, including Love Someone Today (2001) and Arms Full of Love (2012). Delilah is mother to 13 children, 10 of whom are adopted. Delilah has a passion for children, which is why she founded Point Hope, which brings clean water, sanitation, nutritional and agricultural programs to refugees in Ghana. In her spare time, Delilah enjoys spending time with her family and friends on her farm.
